The Group Risk Management Directorate endeavors to achieve sound corporate governance, robust compliance and effective risk management processes for credit, market and liquidity risks.
The strategies used help build robust capital management, effective risk monitoring and proactive risk mitigation.
Job functions

Specification / responsibilities
Monitor transactions according to the policy.
Support in updating and improving the transaction filtering process
Management of financial crime risks, such as those caused by customers, products, counterparties to transactions and the transactions themselves, through transaction monitoring tools and, if applicable, extension to NFIU in the form of reports of suspicious transactions.
Advisory service regarding all compliance requests.
Support in the development of a group-wide compliance culture.
Facilitate compliance training
Ensure that the bank complies with the Foreign Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).
Examine and delete transactions identified with specific watch lists
Optimum support through a holistic compliance perspective with regard to affiliated subsidiaries
Support in implementing the automated transaction tracking tool.
Business Office Review
Support for inquiries from correspondent banks
Respond to FATCA-related issues
Ensure transaction tracking and advanced due diligence for high-risk and high-profile accounts.
Job Requirements
School qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Humanities
Master's degree (desirable)
Experience:
At least 2 years after the NYSC experience
Good industry experience
